Trip to Pondicherry date (18th April – 22nd April 2019)
A long weekend of 4 days was approaching and I had no plans for it.
Firstly, Let me introduce you to Juhi. Juhi is my husband’s cousin. She came to Bangalore for spending her 10th standard Summer vacation. As she was here for 20 days and therefore we wanted to make sure she has the best time with us and go back to Bhavnagar rejuvenated and with a fresh mind to kick start her higher secondary studies.
On 16th April ‘19, early morning we all sat down and listed out the kind of places we would like to visit. Although we had a few criteria in mind :D, which are as follows,
- First of all, the place should be new for Juhi.
- It should be well connected by highway with Banglore because we were planning to go by car.
- It should have Beaches (Bcz, Its summer and I want to go to Beach 😛 )
- I have been traveling to hill stations for very long. Therefore we decided to ditch the hill station.
In conclusion, after looking at all these requirements we decided to go to Puducherry aka Pondicherry. Above all those mentioned criteria Pondicherry has a lot more to offer. Pondicherry has a rich cultural history, the best culinary place to give a party to your test buds, and moreover it has best Beaches in south india.
We scrolled some of the hotel booking sites. I booked my hotel using Make My Trip (MMT), as I got a pretty good deal on MMT. We choose our stay at Crossway I the Hotel because it gives easy access to all the hot spots of this heritage city.
Now we are All Set for our Pondicherry Adventure!
